The excitement has shifted from discovering the hidden potential in how organisations operate to productivity gains from generative AI. In my view, the real bottlenecks in organisations have always been non-technical, and it would be a mistake to try to solve them with LLMs.

Anyone can sit down to head an established project with a steady delivering team, but real professionals stand up when stepping in to a project which is a mess upon arrival, organizing specifications and the team is challenging, pressure is mounting and project is in somewhat of a deadlock. I saw Juha juggling skillfully, calmly and professionally in a cross-current of many factions and technologies and playing well with the cards he had. During my career spanning two decades, I have seen a plethora of project managers and Juha's skills put him in my top project managers ever. Needless to say, I would work again with him any time.
I had the pleasure of working with Juha in a pretty unique situation. He was both a friend and my direct manager at the same time, and it turned out to be one of the best work experiences I've ever had.
What makes Juha stand out as a leader is that he actually put in the effort to learn how to be a great manager. He introduced us to useful techniques and books about software and product management that were completely new to me. That meant a lot.
On top of that, Juha was also our team's data analyst, and he was so generous with sharing what he knew. He ran workshops and made sure everyone on the team could learn along with him. No holding back, just open and helpful.
What I appreciated most was how honest and humble he was. I remember one time he made a small mistake, and he owned it right away and apologized to the whole team. That kind of honesty is not something you see every day, and it made the whole team feel comfortable being open too.
Working with Juha was a real learning experience for me. I grew a lot, both as a professional and in understanding what good leadership looks like.
Juha is one of the best business-oriented tech professionals, I've had the privilege to work with. Juha is a driven and a proactive guy, always striving to improve, no matter what he is working on. Clear thinking and solid argumentation skills allow Juha to make a difference where it counts. On a personal level, Juha is an easygoing person and great fun to work with. Big thumbs up for him.
